PSS DINNER 2018

The annual PSS Dinner Night was held at the Skyark Venue on the 13th of October 2018.

Students had dressed up in all their beautiful clothes for this event. The Dinner was put together by the Form 4 librarians. The theme of the dinner was Coachella.

Many students attended the dinner.

The dinner started off with a speech from Wan Zahirah Wan Azman, the emcee of the night, and was continued with speech from Pn Suzieany, the principal of the SMK Seri Hartamas.

After the speech was given, the students enjoyed an array of delicious meals.

Once the students have eaten the amazing food that was prepared, the dinner continued with a wonderful performance by Tng Mee Chee and Cheng Yue, who played the yo-yo gener with profession.

It was then followed with a powerful vocal performance by Rhayna Roslan, who pulled off a spectacular ballad.

The games that followed afterwards were 'Pop The Balloon' and 'Musical Chairs', and then continued with a performance by Budak Kuning (Zahirah, Brenda & Anjeli). With Budak Kuning's wonderful performance, we were given a chance to watch an amazing dance crew performance by The GCT (Amira,Anis,Dayini & Farah).

                                                                     'Budak Kuning'

After all those wonderful performances, there was one game left to play. Charades! During this time, students were chosen by Bharanitharan A/L Visvanathan ( Bhara) to play this game. It seemed like they had a blast trying to guess out the drawings that Bhara had drawn on a compact whiteboard.

Once all the games have concluded, students who won the games participated, as well as performers who took part were given prizes. Some students who were very lucky, managed to win the lucky draw held if they got the lucky number in their palms.

As the night was coming to end, students and teachers alike were having the time of their lives chatting with their friends and consuming the variety of food and drinks available.

However, it wasn't over yet... there was actually one more performance left that was kept by surprise. The Flash-mob!

Students who wanted to join in on this wonderful finale had gotten up from their seats and went up on the stage to sing and dance along to the song being played, which was 'A Million Dreams' from the hit movie, 'The Greatest Showman'. For the second song, they requested Bhara to come onto the stage. The students provided a chair for Bhara to sit on, as the students sang the second song, which is called 'If I Didn't Have You' especially for him as a farewell gift before he leaves the school to proceed his studies in college, to show their dearest appreciation towards his honorable service to the library.

The night had ended. Students had said their goodbyes with a smile on their face knowing that this night will forever be cherished.
